Our parish is made up of St Richards church (Atherton) Sacred Heart church (Hindley Green) and Sacred Heart church (Hindsford -now closed). Our community is based on the edge of Liverpool Archdiocese on the border with Manchester. We are a growing parish with a diverse congregation, welcoming all.

As parish priest here at St John Rigby parish, I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to serve the people of Atherton, Hindley Green, Hindsford and Tyldesley. I have previously been parish priest at St Teresa's in Norris Green Liverpool and St Wilfrids parish in Widnes. Our mission for the future will be to spread the Good News of Jesus through our fellowship and community.
